The police have cleared Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) of wrongdoing in an investigation into the collection of private data with their streetview cars.

The operation of street views cars, as was the case in many places around the globe, had become an issue of security concerns in New Zealand when reports appeared that it had been gathering private data from wireless devices.
The New Zealand Herald reported that the Police has announced that they didn’t find any evidence to support a criminal investigation into Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG).
