The Department of Defense said that “The contract provides for the acquisition and sustainably activities needed to support B-52 weapon system modernization.”

Boeing (NYSE:BA) on Tuesday reported that it was awarded a three-year contract of 5.3 billion dollars per year with the US Navy to build 124 fighter jets and is presently battling European rival Airbus to win a US military contracts worth 40 billion dollars to renew its fleet of tanker planes.
