James Holt is the father of Florida’s Freestyle Alligator Competition and he created this type of competition because he really wants to transform this sport into an extreme one. This man comes from a family where this type of wrestling is practiced for generations.

James Holt declared in an interview for Sky News that he wants this competition to be exactly like the one that was organized when his grandfather was alive. So, we expect to see something spectacular! In the same interview, Hold said that he and his team are trying to recreate the Freestyle Alligator Competition exactly like it would have been held in the jungle.

Alligator wrestlers will be marked depending on their skills but the jury will also take into account 6 parameters such as the appearance, difficulty, aggressiveness of the animal, style, show and water wrangling. Paul Bedard, one of the competitors declared that people will watch this competition for the bites.
