Trenton, NJ, United States (CNS) – MTV has been sued by a couple involved in a fight with “Jersey Shore” cast members Ronnie Margo and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola for allegedly editing the fight scene on the show. The couple claim that the network edited the boardwalk fight “in a manner that was completely inconsistent” with what really happened.
According to the lawsuit filed by the duo in New Jersey Superior Court, the show’s producers and MTV showed a version of the fight that favors their so-called guido and guidette.
They said they have a DVD that contains raw footage from the fight, which shows Ronnie and Sammi clearly provoking them by hurling out homophobic slurs and other insults before the whole thing became violent.
They also claimed that MTV knew they were “clearly intoxicated” when they signed a release form, which therefore invalidates the waivers, according to TMZ.
The couple is suing MTV, 495 Productions, Viacom, Ronnie, and more for an unspecified amount.
The infamous Boardwalk fight appeared in an episode of the reality show, wherein Ronnie and Sammi were shown walking along the Boardwalk when Thomas yells at them, “Go home to Staten Island where you belong!”
The incident became violent, with Ronnie and an unidentified man rolling around the area until a security guard pulled them apart. The couple were arrested after the incident.

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN) – “Kick-Ass” girl Chloe Moretz will be playing “Emily the Strange” in the film adaptation of the comic book character. The 13-year-old actress, who played Hit-Girl in the superhero film, has been cast as the odd and unsmiling girl.
Universal Pictures has acquired the rights to the Dark Horse comic book. The film will be produced by Dark Horse’s Richardson along with franchise creator Rob Reger and Keith Goldberg.
Reger told Deadline, “When I first met Chloe I knew I found my Emily. She really identifies and understands the character, and has what it takes to bring her to life.”
Moretz is also expected to reprise her “Kick-Ass” character in the sequel. She is currently filming the Martin Scorsese-directed “Hugo Cabret.”
She will next be seen in the horror/drama flick “Let Me In” as the vampire child Abby. The film will be released October 1st.

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN) – As the sixth season of “Bones” begins this month, fans can relive last season’s passion and intrigue as the Fox hit series arrives on Blu-ray and DVD October 5th. The fifth season also guest starred Buckcherry front man Josh Todd in an episode.
“Bones” stars Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz as forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan and FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth to solve crimes and catch criminals.
The 4-disc Blu-ray and 6-disc DVD includes all 22 episodes plus special features, including extended episodes of “The Tough Man in the Tender Chicken” and “The X in the Files.”
They also include the features “The 100th Episode with Director David Boreanaz,” “The Bodies of Bones,” and “The Nunchuck Way,” as well as commentaries, deleted scenes, and gag reel.
Buckcherry fans can also see frontman Todd in action in the 19th episode “The Rocker in the Rinse Cycle.” As special treat to the fans, Buckcherry.com will host a contest with Fox Home Entertainment, where viewers can win a roundtrip ticket to Las Vegas to see the band perform at the MGM Grand.

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN) – Pauly D will be branching out from “Jersey Shore” with his new series. The disc jockey is reportedly set to star in another MTV reality show in which he will be showcasing his passion for spinning turntables.
According to RadarOnline.com, now that the series has wrapped up its third season, the 28-year-old guido from Rhode Island has now time to shoot a DJ-related series.
“They have already chosen a name and of course it will be dee-jay related,” a source said. “It’s another MTV reality show and he’ll be DJ-ing and of course doing things his fans love to watch.”
“It’s scheduled to begin shooting within this month.”
If the report is true, Pauly D – real name Paul DelVecchio – is the first cast member to have his own spin-off. Co-star Michael “The Situation” Sorrentino is currently competing on “Dancing With the Stars.”

California, United States (AHN) – Sixty-four-year-old veteran Sylvester ‘Rambo’ Stallone has left behind contemporary Arnold Schwarzenegger in becoming the “ultimate action hero,” according to a recent poll while ‘Tomb Raider’ and philanthropic actress Angelina Jolie has come seventh on the list of the action heroes, which also includes action stars like Bruce Willis, Bruce Lee, Jean Claude Van Damme and Jason Statham.
Nearly 2000 people voted for the survey, out of which 31 percent votes went to the’ Expendables’ actor.
The “Terminator” star and Willis won the second and third positions, respectively while fourth slot went to Lee, who was followed by Van Damme at the fifth position.
The sixth position went to another action veteran Steven Seagal.
The first woman to be on the list, Jolie won the seventh slot after beating her male colleagues like Will Smith and Statham. Jolie has recently surprised the movie-goers around the world with her death-defying stunts in the spy-thriller “Salt.”
