Schefter: Philadelphia Eagles Expected to Request Permission to Interview Gruden

According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter’s Twitter profile, the Philadelphia Eagles  are expected to request permission to interview Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden to fill their head coaching vacancy.                 Coaches whose team is taking part in this weekends playoffs are not permitted to take interviews in the week leading up to the game. Once wildcard weekend is over, however, there will be a feeding frenzy of interviews expected to take place.
